Summer Art & Craft Camps
2024 Program
Evergreen Garden School offers a four hour Art & Craft Summer Program with flexible weekly sign ups for children between 2.5 and 7 years of age. (Siblings of current or returning families up to 9 years of age are welcome to attend with their younger siblings.)
Children may attend 2-5 days per week. Available summer schedules are:
2 days: Tuesdays & Wednesdays OR Tuesdays & Thursdays OR Wednesday & Thursdays
3 days: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
4 days: Monday—Thursday OR Tuesday—Friday
5 days: Monday—Friday
You may vary the number of days your child attends from week to week.
Enrollment is done on a first come, first served basis.
Dates
The Summer Program starts Monday, June 3rd and ends Friday, August 30th.
We are closed on Juneteenth (Wednesday, June 19th) and the week of Fourth of July (July 1st through July 5th).
Summer Program Rhythm
School opens promptly at 9 am.
9:00-10am Rolling Drop Off
Please note that children are only allowed to be enrolled at EGS for a maximum of four hours a day.
When children arrive, Guardians or Teachers will sign children in via the Brightwheel App, noting time of arrival. Guardians must pick child up no later than four hours after that time of arrival. For example, drop off at 9:15am - you may pick up no later than 1:15pm.9:00-10:30am Weekly Theme & Indoor/Outdoor Play (Weekly Themes Here)
10:30-10:45am Tidy & Set Up for Lunch—children bring packed lunch.
10:45-11:00am Circle Time - class gathers to sing songs, recite poems, play movement games, and greet one another. Circle ends with everyone washing hands for lunch
11:00-11:30am Lunchtime - First 15 minutes of lunch is “golden silence”, followed by story sharing, taking turns going to the bathroom, reading the book of the day, or classroom discussion. Lunch ends with a blessing to thank Earth for the food. Children then pack away lunches to go outside to play or go for a walk.
11:30-12:30pm Outdoor Play or Walk
12:30-12:50pm Storytelling & Songs - the story of the week is told for a few days then turned into a puppet show or class play, and finally it is drawn and retold as a group recall.
12:50-2pm Rolling Pick Up. Please remember children may only be enrolled at EGS for four hours a day.
Dropped off at 9am must pick up no later than 1pm.
Registration Process
New Students:
Fill out an application for Evergreen Garden School (HERE)
Fill out the Student Contact Information form (HERE)
Upload your child’s Certification of Immunization Status (HERE)
Complete the Summer 2024 Agreement form (HERE)
Email office@evergreengardenschool.com with your preferred monthly schedule and location.
You will be invoiced a one-time registration fee of $100. This fee will not be charged any subsequent years.
Once the prior steps have been completed, you will receive a confirmation of your dates. Please see Billing section below.
Current and Returning Students:
If your child is a current or returning student, please complete the Summer 2024 Agreement form (HERE).

Billing
Billing is done through Brightwheel.
Cancellations must be received two weeks prior to the scheduled date of attendance in order to receive a refund. This policy exists in order to keep our commitments to other families and staff.
Weeks scheduled and paid for by the following Early Registration cut-off dates will be billed at $75 a day ($18.75 an hour).
June Early Registration cut-off date: May 10th, 2024
July Early Registration cut-off date: June 7th, 2024
August Early Registration cut-off date: July 12th, 2024Weeks scheduled after each month’s Early Registration cut-off date will be billed at $80 a day ($20 an hour).
Weeks scheduled the same week of attendance are considered drop-ins, and will be billed at $88 a day ($22 an hour) as space is available.
